I got a guitar, and I’m starting a band with Chris. He’s gonna play drums. We’re called Hazzourdous Nabor…neither of us really have music experience, apart from middle school orchestra, so we’ve got a good deal to learn. I’m set on the idea though – we both used to play classic EQ, we can do it. Chris let me use his guitar, it’s a fairly nice one made by Lotus. Nothing fancy, but I love it. When I first picked it up I could hardly play anything, but within just a week I’ve learned more than I ever thought I would be able to. Since I started playing, I’ve also started to appreciate music and I really “listen” to it now.
My friend and I are starting an internet company. I think we have a great idea, and there’s few (if any) competitors we would have, at least initially. We’ve gone over the concept and I’ve been spending a bunch of time thinking about how it’s going to work, and I’m confident we can pull it off. I’ll be developing and designing the site, he’ll be handling administrative and PR stuff, and we’ll have a few of our friends lending a hand.
I also have to update my portfolio, I haven’t touched it since last summer.
