OLArchitect’s Layer List

I’ve deviated a bit from my original project plan, but with good purpose.  My initial goal was to code draggable and resizeable boxes, but I’ve shifted my focus to working on layer configuration.  I had originally planned to focus on layer configuration a bit later as I thought it would give me the most problems, but after working on them this weekend I am confident they won’t be a problem.  All the basic work for displaying layer configuration options is done, and I’ll be able to use the pseudo framework I developed to create them for the controls and map.  I have by no means finalized the settings that are displayed, or the manner in which they are displayed.  I plan to show the most common configurations near the top, and in a collapsible div show advanced settings.  The follow link contains a basic overview of how the settings are displayed.  Note that nothing works, this is just an example.  Click on new layer, and view other layer options by changing the layer service.  OLArchitect | Preview

I’ve got a long way to go still, but I’m pleased by the progress I’ve made so far.  I’ve created a solid base of code which to expand on, and I feel that most the problems I envisioned have already been overcome.  Then again, the hardest challenges are the ones that come unexpectely.
